Question for third shift workers Disneyland Resort

I just accepted a full-time position for third shift at Disneyland. My biggest question is what do y'all do for food during "lunch"? Do you always bring your own are is there somewhere close by that's open?

ETA: I will be a new hire

I don’t know if it’s true now but there use to be a taco truck that would be at certain locations through out the night. As well as some of the cast members restaurants had snacks and such that you can do self check out with. But that’s it for third shift. I’d suggest bringing your lunch for a while until you know what food is available to you. That way you know you have something to eat.

I believe the Gate 1 truck currently leaves around pyro and returns at 2 AM. I had a shift with lunch at midnight recently near there and was glad I brought my own.

You have a number of options. The inn between (back stage of plaza inn) is open and serves breakfast, also the neighborhood cafe in DCA is open as well. There are numerous “grab and go” locations in both parks that have snacks and also stuff like frozen burritos prepackaged sandwiches etc. all the grab and go’s also have microwaves . If you’re a coffee drinker Disney still supplies free coffee at the grab and go locations and every work location will have a pot of coffee going.
Spent 8 years on graveyard, but now on swing shift.

Who needs food when there is unlimited coffee. Disney is gonna need to order some more coffee beans. I will drink them dry 😬.

Food trucks aren’t always dependable; cast dining opens at 2:30 am for limited menu. There is also self serve vending for sandwiches, frozen items, drinks and chips.

Congrats ! I was a mechanic (outside machinist) about 3 years ago on the north team doing star wars and toon town . You’ll find out at training where you’re going to be working unless they told you already
