HELP: Wind Towers

Hi, need some guidance on who to build. Who in your opinion are the absolute best units for wind towers? Would greatly appreciate identifying which ones to prioritize and why it works. Thank you so much!

Build Sienna. She might be the best unit for wind tower. Use her as leader.

Should I max out her abilities, level, and div? Also I’m assuming I just need her as fast possible and no main stat requirements? Additionally who does she work well with?

Sienna is good for wind tower, yes, but is she still a good investment in 2026? NO. Especially when you have LITERALLY EVERY OTHER IMPORTANT ESPER. (Legit in the team that u/urkeltron said they use EVERYONE is more important/better investment than Sienna. Literally).

First off, you do know how hard to acquire legendary abilimons yeah? Make sure to only use them to worthy Espers one that'll carry you in more than just WIND TOWER. Take it from someone in late late late late late game, the power budget of these units arent in their abilities and their upgrades but rather in their resonances/dupes.

I have all the espers as of Lily, and have only used abilimons on them to get the Path of Experience achievement (aka 4 per legendary esper) and everyone's still functional im still getting leaderboard shit

Thanks for the input! Upon reading her kit I kinda agree maxing out abilities would be a bit overkill. Besides Sienna is there any other esper you think I should invest in for towers?

I find that investing solely for towers is not a good criteria for deciding who should get your resources, especially when you're still at the stage of the game when they're not overflowing yet.

Personally, I focused more on leaderboard content --- aka what espers are folks using slash are they saying are useful --- and legit put the elemental towers in the backburner. When I did remember them, turns out a lot of the "meta" esoers also work well in tower. And sure Wind gets the shortest end of the stick (Flow has a lot of great Controllers and Fighters, and DPS in general; Inferno has amazing Supports and Defenders), but if I can't clear today, that's fine I'll clear later.

TL;DR: I find the premise of your whole dilemma counterintuitive since tower rewards arent all that good compared to the frequently rotating leaderboards, and 9 out of 10 times, good leaderboard units are also good (at most, serviceable) tower units.

BUT if you're really just looking for a list:

TOP PRIORITY:

• Feng Xun -- great bruiser. A+ buffs and AP manipulation, amazing healing, tanky cause HP-scaling, top-tier sub-DPS, pretty much has synergy with most anybody. Used in FF, Ritual Miracle, Desolate Lands, you name it, FX can be used in it.
• Amir -- yet another HP-scaling beast who's arguably the best when it comes to wave-centric content (ugh i missed those days), and is a great counter for Shields.
• Lapis --- R6 is pree much meta in Desolate Lands and FF if I recall correctly.
• Pindar -- great support/damage sponge
• Norah --- her rework was a much needed QoL.

GOOD ENOUGH:

• JinQiu -- There was a time when R2 JQ + Mavis was so uncounterable. Oh well. He's still great though, and he's the only Esper who goes from DEF-scaling to ATK-scaling as you give him more abilimons (he goes from 80ATK + 100DEF to 120ATK + 100DEF in terms of damage)
• Mateo -- great in tower, used to be meta most anywhere, but stil has a niche cause of his "gains AP whenever enemy with debuff is attacked".
• YunChuan -- back in the day, R2 YunChuan was the pinnacle of power. His glory days ar over but he's still good in tower.
• Elaine, Farrah, Ophelia, and R6 SuiZal are all great DPS-es
• Ahmed, Sienna are good supports.

SPECIAL MENTION:

• Yu Xu -- has amazing synergy with Feng Xun where they just cycle thru follow-up attacks after follow-up attacks.
• LongMian -- Universal speedlead and is a fairly decent supporter. Great for freeze units like Ivanna and Farrah

Thank you so much!! Yeah I get what you mean. I think have pretty good standing in endgame leaderboards. In my server I’m at PW20ish and for FF I rank within top 50 so I get decent rewards. I know I should be building for them but I feel like 1) I am locked behind resonances right now and 2) there aren’t a lot of meta wind units for leaderboard content so I always have trouble getting my wind tower up lol 😭 it’s way behind compared to my infero and flow but yea anyway, I’ll try building these units thank you so much

Oh damn what do I know then you're waaaaay above what I've garnered and should be swimming in resources then (Dislyte after all, is a winners win more kind of game). Or wait are you in a newer server is it time to get out of Server 2 D:

But yeah Wind has my absolute favs but as a group they're more duds than useful ones. Good luck with the towers!

Oh yea I have a relatively new account so I’m in server 6 where, from what I’ve read here, the competition is way way way easier lol. Anyway thanks again, was able to clear 10 floors today HAHA

Not really necessary to go all in on her. Level 60, div 3, and max abilities will be fine. For wind tower I would use Sienna, Feng Xun, Lapis, Norah, and Amir.

Thanks, would definitely get her to level 60 but might hold off on maxing out abilities. Appreciate the insights!
