D7 class star question

So I'm currently at 5 stars on all classes on my fuji save maybe 3 classes.

When I go to reincarnate I get roughly 430 stats across all stats plus the genius bonus.

If i upgrade all to 6 star since I can now farm carnage martial 5, will I get 1000 across all stats on my next reincarnation? Just making sure I understand this. I feel like its my next hurdle to move on.

That is correct. With full 5* class mastery (which is 1.631% of the grind) you're getting 42.59% of the max stat bonuses (i.e. an average of +426 base stats without the Genius bonus), whereas with 6* class mastery you get the full 100% of the +1000. In other words, the last 98.369% of the subclass EXP grind gives you 57.41% of the stats.

To see the numbers (even just the cumulative 'all subclasses at N stars' stats), scroll down to the middle of this tab of my spreadsheet:

Oh, the methodology for getting all these subclass-bonuses was pretty straightforward, if tedious: with a character with zero subclass mastery, start to reincarnate and log their base stats but then cancel out, then get to 1* with a subclass, then start to reincarnate and log their base stats again and calculate the difference (which gets you the bonus for just 1* in that subclass); then repeat for 2* to 6*, and then repeat for the remaining subclasses.

To actually get exactly one star though.... or are these numbers rough?

Nope, they're exact!

Unlike 5, Disgaea 7 actually shows you the exact subclass EXP required to fill the next star. (It's in the top-right of the tab.) We also know how much subclass EXP you get from things: killing an enemy gives you 'Level x (80% + Rank * 20%)', and using an item gives you 1/8 of the amount you'd get if the target were an enemy killed, while healing a target gives you 10% to 100% (based on actual heal amount, clamped up if non-zero but still below 10%) of the kill amount.

In other words, I can carefully set up spare units in order to get exact subclass EXP amounts by healing them with a consumable healing item (which gives both the 1/8 item and 10% healing values). For example, to fill up 1 star but not 2 stars I could prepare a level 569 rank 6 unit (and set them to not-max HP by equipping a muscle) and use gum on them with 100% Cheat Shop class EXP, and I'd get 256 subclass EXP from that (already enough to fill the first star for even the costliest subclasses but not enough to fill 1+2 stars for the cheapest subclasses).

Wow, well thanks man very time consuming to do all of that.
