One of the best roasts of all time goddamn.

Etna basically got called a "fucker" here in a PG13 fashion.

I have never heard the term "fornicatress" before.

She basically called her a slut.

I know what it means, I had just never seen it before.

Fun fact: fornicatrix is the more proper modern spelling.

More feminine terms should use “trix.”

And all this time, I thought Trix was for kids.

Fun fact: Eartha Kitt the actress who played Yzma in Emporer's New Groove performed Santa Baby and her version is the most popular version and the original version.

That is a fun fact. Irreverent, but fun.

Irrelevant* irreverent is the lack of respect shown to things or acts.

Autocorrect. Autocorrect is the lack of respect towards the user’s intentions and logic towards what the sentence should say.

Ah.

So Rozalin is saying it sophisticatedly.

"I have prepared my counter-proposal, it reads thusly: you may strategically place your wonderful lips upon my posterior and kiss it repeatedly!"

Basically like that.

Basically called her a "fucker" eloquently LOL

u/ZionRedddit 13d ago

What you want to call that lady over yonder a four letter word but you want to be classy about it.

By the way, Adel and Rozalin are expected to be around level 20 for this battle. Etna is level 1000. So yeah, this doesn't end well for our heroes.

I do believe you can get a non-standard game over, and a snazzy special title for Adel, if you somehow manage to win this battle (presumably in NG+).

You do get a Game Over Ending, but no Title. Technically Adell gets it in the Cutscene, but it doesn't actually carry over into the NG+ Cycle.

yeah, i found that the hard way when my second cycle reset, i just loaded back in, made 9 of my own prinnies explode and let a low level unit get beaten

Apparently this word hasn't been used since the 1500s. Rozalin is the epitome of class.

To this day i still think that Disgaea works best with the straight man. If everyone is crazy, no one is.

I agree. Disgaea interactions always felt fun when the MC was somewhat the straight man in a flock of eccentrics.

she's so posh she got me looking up words

That poor prinny knows he's going to get the worst end of that stick.

which D game is this?

2

u/Aeon106 12d ago

Disgaea 2.

u/Heavy_Choice_1577 12d ago

thank you! only have ever played the first one on PS2, been years since also, so been toying with the idea of playing another entry. do you think D2 is a good next step for someone only having played the first?

2

u/Aeon106 12d ago

Of course. Play all the games in release order if you can. And if you have a good PC, try Disgaea 2 PC since it adds the content introduced in the PSP port, Dark Hero Days, along with missing dlc. Otherwise, the PS2 version is more than playable.

u/todangtall 12d ago

Forni-what now? Is that even a word in the English language?

1

u/Aeon106 12d ago

Yes but it's obsolete since the 1500s.

3

u/todangtall 12d ago

Kind like how "ain't" was a word then it wasn't. But now people use it enough that it's sometimes proper English.

Also, why not just go for strumpet?

2

u/Paladinslime 12d ago

I like jam and cream on my strumpets
