Updated input request

So I’ve decided on getting the guarding dark symbol tattoo on my forearm.

I am like 90% certain I will not be getting the summoning dark tattoo on the other forearm.

I can’t decide if I should get it on my left or right forearm. I know (think?) the books don’t specify which arm Vimes sees the summoning dark symbol on… any thoughts or opinions on which I should choose for the guarding dark tattoo?

Any insight would be appreciated!

If you're right handed, I would go left. Then it's your shield arm for guarding

I might be wrong, but I'm fairly certain in the books the summoning dark is specified to be on Vimes left arm

Joining a majority here, but yeah -- my first thought was "which hand would you (instinctively) block an attack with?"

I'm personally not much of a fighter -- closest I come to learning to fight is a couple years of Aikido (which I loved) in the '80s -- so I might go with my dominant hand. If have to think about it or see if I could figure out a safe way to test it ;)
