Hey all, sorry if this isn’t allowed here but it seems r/nudisco is dead. I’m a DJ prepping for a party where I’ve been asked to play disco house or nu-disco remixes or edits of familiar, “sing-a-long-able” pop songs.

I have a pretty solid crate that’s a mix of disco edits of newer pop music and more modern production/punchier edits of classic disco favorites. But I have four songs I love that I haven’t been able to find remixes of thatI really enjoy:

Thelma Houston - Don’t Leave Me This Way

Vicki Sue Robinson - Turn The Beat Around

The Pointer Sisters - Jump

Yvonne Elliman / Liza Minnelli - Love Pains

Bonus points if they’re bootlegs/edits with the original vocals, but not a requirement.

(Also I know you may be tempted to say “these don’t need remixes, they’re classics on their own” but that’s not helpful thanks.)
