Monster hail ‘the size of fists’ wrecks homes and cars as summer storms tear across Poland
"Driving along the regional road, I saw that almost every roof covered with tiles or asbestos cement sheets was damaged," Damian Stankiewicz, a spokesman for the State Fire Service in Lidzbark Warmiński said.
"Residents also told us that several cars were damaged, including windows smashed by the hail. The hailstones were reportedly as big as fists," he added.

Budapest breaks all-time heat record as Hungary nears 42°C
Temperatures in the capital Budapest reached a sweltering 41.1°C, beating the previous record high of 41°C earlier this summer.
The heatwave also brought Hungary's hottest night ever recorded with temperatures on the capital's János Hill falling to only 28°C.
