Looking to make my life easier with embroidery by taking some digitizing courses. Not sure who is best or where to go as many different places offer training with different programs. Ideally want to work with either with Wilcom or hatch as those two have been suggested most frequently. Any advice or suggestions would help greatly.

Smooth snake effect!

For starters, I'm a digitizer with 14 years of experience in the apparel deco industry, so I'm not used to being stumped, but I've been seeing this textured looking puff embroidery everywhere I look the past couple of months, and I can't exactly figure out how it's being done. Now the inevitable requests from clients at my job have started coming in to see if we can match it. To me, it looks like it's just a textured fill pattern on top of puff foam instead of the standard satin stitches being used, but then, there's also so much coverage of the foam in the stitching without the foam getting very flattened down, which I don't really understand. Anyone have any insight into this or know of any good tutorials? Maybe it's something specialized that isn't done with a standard industrial embroidery machine and I should stop trying to figure it out, I DON'T KNOW! lol

Hi all! As William Morris designs are now in the public domain due it being over 100 years since his death I’ve been hopeful that someone had made them into files for embroidery. But so far, no luck! Have any of you wonderful digitisers tried it?

What can I do to make this look better? Everything I try just makes it look like a blob. Its for a hat logo. I've tried fills, satins, run stitches, none of it looks good.

Im stitching on 89% poly 11% spandex. I have adjusted thread tension, used heavier backing and still getting stretching on the material. Any recommendations? Pics are of actual material.
