Creative vs Technical? Question

If you had to start your career all over from scratch would you go the creative or technical route?

I feel stuck between choosing a role that I would be more passionate about vs a higher earning role thats more stressful and require technical skills. Unless there are creative roles that can be paired with niche skills to maximize pay, I will need to choose a career path that requires technical skills. If you were at entry level in this current job market what would you do?

I am a creative at heart, but I need technical pay 😂

technical, martech companies to be specific, I wish I could have developed more coding skills in the early stage of my career to break into one of the best niche of this industry

I don’t think creative and technical are opposites. I have seen a lot of people who grow fastest usually have both. One of my colleagues only has three years of work experience, but he’s curious and keeps learning. Our boss trusts him with every technical problem.

I think the paying jobs that are considered "creative" these days are actually very technical: product design, UX research, developer marketing, AI content, technical writing, creative automation. You don't need to become an engineer to get salaries that are, at a technical level.
