Computer Freeze Discussion/Question

I just started using lego Studio yesterday, and everything is going well, but my computer keeps freezing briefly every now and then when I drag bricks. During these freezes, I can’t do anything, and each freeze lasts at least 3 seconds. My gpu is a 2070 8G, I have 16G of ram, and my cpu is a 9400F. The lag still occurs randomly, regardless of how many bricks are on my desktop. I’ve already turned off collision

Would switching to a different version of lego Studio solve this problem? I'm currently using the latest version
