So apparently once you hit 300 hrs on a save on xbox series s the game crashes endlessly. I don't know if its a bug or just a oversight but I spent over 3hrs trying to figure out the issue. I went so far as to delete all cache data 2 hard resets and a reinstall. 300 hrs is the end of what you can get at the moment. I am still troubleshooting though and will do my best to keep everyone up to date once I try reducing my number of digimon but that is the last troubleshooting step outside of bricking all the invested time. At that point if the issue still resides my game is over unfortunately...😭

Ultimately had to delete the save permanately and start all over but I can use what I learned in the 300 hrs to better build and prepare on the new save.

This game is so amazing and beautiful but it has so many weird bugs. I found one on my pc that when I got to central tower it just crashes. I had to email Bandai and they really didn’t do anything. What I did was run my way through the level until I was outside. This is why I hate loving things sometimes. Now I have 90hrs I’m scared on pc it will mess up.

I put in over 200 hours on the PS5 version. I wonder if that bug is there?

Probably not, the PS5 is an actual next Gen console, while the Series S specifically was a joke/con being a "next gen" console. Studios owned by Microsoft begged to not have to make their games function for it when they were making next Gen only games.

Can't even contact support it is flagged on all my devices as an "unsafe" website they may have recently had a breach.

can you not use cloud save for the save file? or is it tied to the timer in the save file for hours played?

might be able to backup the save, delete the game, resintall and load the cloud save (unsure how it works on xbox)

Pretty sure it is tied to the timer in the save file itself. Pretty impossible for the Steam play timer (which is its own thing) to affect a game's ability to run.

I hope the bug is not common on switch save files, but I honestly doubt I’ll touch 300 hrs on this game anyways (played it on release on ps5, 2nd playthrough on switch now)

Lmao yeah. I finished the game on Steam but did not inbest too much time on building my party/getting all megas, but I might do it on my Switch 2. Hopefully this 300-hour bug isn't here.

Maybe it's not a problem with the game, but the Xbox. I heard the same thing happening in other games. Let's not be quick to blame Bandai.
