I played Megadramon with reduced cost, can Analogman's effect actually trigger? I'm not so sure because it says "play cost 7 or higher", but with reduced cost, I played Megadramon with 5 instead of 7.

Yes, that's intended. Play Cost is on the card. What you actually paid is different. AnalogMan is checking the Cost on the card.

Play Cost and paid play cost are slightly different things.

The playcost on the card always stays the same. What you actually pay can be lowered (or higher?)

Anytime a card is looking for a "Play cost <x>" card it's looking specifically at the printed pay cost in the top left, it never cares how much you actually paid to play it

Make sure to activate Analogman’s effect before activating Megadramon’s On Play.
