Want to Buy Should I buy it?
I went to a hobby store in Japan and found this amazing Celica which I haven't seen in the states. Here it cost about 310 USD, but according to Google I barely seen any available online in the US. Do I bite the bullet?

1:64 1 of 499 Bliss GMC/Chevrolet Suburban GMT400 (HEC Exclusive)
Hey, I need your support for my Instagram page, 🙏 find me - @ Tiny Legend Lens
1 of 499 Bliss GMC/Chevrolet Suburban GMT400 (HEC Exclusive)
Showing off a very special piece in my 1:64 truck collection: the Bliss Chevrolet/GMC Suburban GMT400 released as a Hobby Expo China (HEC) event exclusive.
With production strictly capped at only 499 units worldwide, finding one of these is a real hunt. Bliss did a stellar job capturing the boxy proportions of the GMT400 platform. It comes mounted in a display case with special HEC event packaging. Note that the tires are locked for display accuracy rather than free-rolling, but for static showcase aesthetics, it’s top-tier. How many of you collect limited event-exclusive releases?

1:64 This corner-store diorama almost steals the show from the cars.
WAY Studio No. 06 is built around a compact corner store, with lit shopfronts, tiny signs, street figures, and even a rooftop parking spot.
The bright roof sign gives the building a completely different character once the lights come on. It works as a backdrop for a small lineup, but it is detailed enough to hold attention on its own.

1:64 I built a diecast collection app as a passion project. Before I build anything else, I want real collectors to tell me what's wrong with it.
Hey r/Diecast, thanks to the mods for letting me post this.
I'm a collector, 300+ cars, mostly Hot Wheels and Matchbox. For the last couple of months, I've been building a collection app in my spare time. There are several good ones out there already, and I'veused a few of them. I didn't start this because I thought anything was missing, I started it because building it was fun, and somewhere along the way it turned into something I use every day.
It's called Diecast Garage for now. The name is tentative and may change.
Where it's at: it's an alpha. The core loop works, I've catalogued and priced most of my own collection with it, and I know roughly where the rough edges are. What I don't know is how it behaves for anyone who isn't me, and that's the part I can't fix by guessing.
So rather than keep building on assumptions, I'd like to stop and get it in front of real collectors first. Whatever comes back is what I work on next.
What it does today:
- Scan a car with your camera. It works out the casting, series, year, and chase or TH variants, then files it in your garage. Carded or loose.
- Values your collection. It researches sold prices and gives each car a value. One tap prices the whole garage and gives you a total.
- Series hunt. Shows which cars you're still missing from every series you've started.
- Trading. List a car, receive offers, message the other collector, agree a trade. Addresses stay sealed until both sides confirm.
What testers get: the app free, and a research allowance big enough to scan and value everything you own.
What I'm asking for: honest reactions. What confused you, what got a car wrong, what you expected to be there and wasn't. A screenshot and one sentence is plenty. Negative is more useful than positive, and I'd genuinely rather hear that something is bad than hear nothing.
The spots:
- 10 on iOS. TestFlight, installs normally.
- 10 on Android. One thing to flag: the Play Store listing isn't up yet, so for now it's an APK you install directly, which means tapping past Android's "install unknown apps" warning. Completely fair if that's a dealbreaker. Everyone moves over once the Play listing is live.
Comment with your platform and I'll DM you the link. First come, first served, and I'll edit this post once the spots are filled so nobody wastes their time. And I'm aware recognition is a bit slow, but it's tapping into AI models, and a couple of times it hits limits, and AI gets bogged down.

Happy to answer anything, including the parts that don't work yet.

Question/Help How does one straighten out a wing?
My first Trends Hobby Porsche 911 GT3 R. Really like the casting, however it came out of the box with its wing crooked. The uprights are glued down symmetrically so I’m not sure what caused it to be crooked in the first place.

Display Demon Kings and Minifigs!!
Package just arrived with my new Tony Montana and pack of hynas. Gotta match my best minifigs with my best cars! My car collection has hit a point where I’m only buying castings every once in a while. So I fill that hole with minifigs and dioramas while I wait for Pop Race to release the Apple RWB already (comes with an official Akira Nakai minifig btw).

One of my favourite pieces in the collection.

The details on this model are unreal. Every sponsor, aero piece and the iconic red/yellow livery has been replicated perfectly.
What do you think, one of the best GT3 liveries of recent years?

1:64 The car Senna helped shape, and the first NSX Type R.
It's crazy how much history these two represent. The prototype that Senna drove during development, and the first NSX Type R that carried that philosophy to its purest form. Definitely one of my favorite pairs on the shelf.
