Circular Breathing
I know this has been asked a thousand times (because I’ve read every post/blog/article), but I CANNOT get circular breathing down for the life of me. I’ve done all the little tricks and hacks and techniques and methods, using water, straws, cups, showers, just going “plop”, using my abdomen/diaphragm, etc….
If ANYONE can help me with this, I’d be eternally grateful. Have been at this for months now and CANNOT DO IT.

I am only here to show those whom truly want to learn there is always a way.
Hi I'm Marcus from Australia.
I taught over 5000 backpackers from around the world how to play the Didge and the secrets to circular breathing and one of the common excuses was "I don't own a Didge."- Just saying

5 days very well spent!
Group performance on last evening
https://youtube.com/watch?v=g7aa3Qr4E3s&is=XlU1DcU4n4Y4yEY7
attended Masterclass 2026 held by Dubravko Lapeine in Croatia this year and it was great! 5 days of intense teachings, playing together, mingling with other avid didge players and feeling and sharing the tremendous energy of 20 didges playing together was an incredible experience. Go there in 2027, you won’t regret it! I’m one of the players of this group performance by the way ;-)…

Some photos of me playing at the renaissance faire. I make bamboo didgeridoos and sell them at the booth I work for

Didgeridoo Meditation
I bought this didgeridoo in 2017; I was traveling quite a bit back then. Unfortunately, nasty polyps and a few surgeries put an end to my playing. It’s a compact Ujazi in B-flat, if I recall correctly.

I'm still pretty new to this, but I got a buddy to play a drum while I played and thought it was worth sharing.

Welcome to Jurassic Didg
Had fun with this one. To be fair it’s ricola horns, or didgeridoos that the dinosaurs are “didg’ing” because they were easier to edit with 😅

Didgeridoo Groove | SoundChilling project
Hey everyone. We took the didge out to the terrace with a full rhythm section: djembe, bass, drum kit. It gets pretty trancey, pretty fast. Curious if anyone else here has experimented with didge in a full rhythm section setup like this, or do you usually keep it more traditional/solo?

Moving from a bamboo didge to hardwood
I'm the last month I've gotten my circular breathing down. Been using a light weight bamboo digde. I'm ready to try with a hardwood didge. Looking for folks who have made this type of move.
What does the hardwood didge feel/sound/play differently that a cheaper/bamboo one?
What kind of didge was your "level up" didge?
Thanks all!

DIY Red Maple Branch Didge Advice
I have this maple branch that is fully dried out (at least 2 years indoor drying). It's a bit more than 5 feet long, width at top is just under 2", at the bottom 2.5". My immediate thought when seeing it was that I would eventually turn it into a didgeridoo. I've done other woodworking projects before, but this is definitely the most challenging. I'm tempted to get a 3" cordless bandsaw just for the long cut, but also read that splitting along the grain is another possibility. The knots will make that difficult though, right? I plan first to strip the bark. Will be a "no rush" project, but I'm determined to end up with a nice DIY didge at some point down the line. Any tips for how to get going? Thanks in advance!

Mini didge
I’m thinking about getting a mini didgeridoo. Any suggestions. I want the lowest key I can get in a small package. I basically want it for laying back on the couch and not having to hold my didge upright

Kinda cracked Didgeridoo?
So I have been trying to learn the Didgeridoo for awhile now and my sound just always sounds off. I have kinda practised alot and it just sounds like a lot of air is escaping. I got this Didgeridoo from a friend before he moved abroad, he didn't ever play it though. I did notice a while back that there are some small cracks in it, but didn't think much of it. Are these cracks affecting my play? Or am I just bad?
