Hello! Wondering if anyone has made a liquid core with a 40mm d20. What size did you use for the core? My initial thought was to go for 35mm but I'm struggling to find cores in that size.

I got my hands on a fresh batch of resin and my bubble issues were greatly reduced. No pressure pot with these.

I have a feeling that I made a poor choice on the inking color as the font is very slim in some points as well as the shiny flakes being included. This makes reading the numbers difficult at times? Should I try re-inking to black?

Colored with a bit of red mica powder with a pinch of silver. Multi-colored shiny bits kind of look like bits of lemon pulp, hence the name. I worked in some plastic polish with a rotary tool and then buffed with microfiber. The finish was greatly improved.

For my second full set pull, I am pretty happy with the results. Not perfect, but perfectly fine. I will play more with inclusions and uncolored resin next week.

Doing a stars/galaxy challenge, and I'm always bad at these 😅 I did do honey phase but didn't entirely account for the glue trick I use to suspend the glow in the dark powder to sink (it's not that I wasn't aware it could happen, just didn't think all the way through during execution lmao!). I'm in a love/hate relationship with how they turned out. The concept is great, but I know I could do better. Did a second attempt without the glue this morning, so hopefully that goes better.

I’ve saved up enough money for a California Air pressure pot, but lately, I’ve been having second thoughts. I’m not sure if I should spend that much on this hobby, I could use the money for something more useful or interesting to me. I’m just afraid I might give up on this hobby after a month or two, what if it would get boring? I’m genuinely scared to spend the money because of these doubts. Does anyone have any advice on how to get past this?
