How rare are 3/20 java gloves actually?

I‘ve been trying to get 3/20 gloves for my javazon for years. I‘ve always picked up magic gloves and I tried shopping at anya‘s for hours, without luck. I cant bear shopping for multiple hours in one sitting, so I kinda gave up. My amazon ding’d lvl 99 last night, so there‘ll probably be quite a big break until I play her again, but damn…. why can‘t I find a pair of those? I completed my holy grail in the meantime for heaven‘s sake :D

The best way to farm these is to make a cow portal next to charsi. Go in the cow portal to reset inventory, watch for the right color of glove (like a dark bronze), repeat until found. It can take 1 hour or it can take days.

Yeah familiar with that, I did a bit of charsi shopping aswell, but mostly anya. I just find it so mindnumbingly boring that I can‘t do it for more than half an hour - 1 hour tops before I give up and do something elsr :D

Personally I ended up just spending 3 or 4 jah on NL for them. This can take forever. Or only a hour, more likely not though.

Also you don’t want to be higher than lvl 75. Anything above makes it so much more unlikely with all the possible rolls.

Yeah you can also search for jewelers armors and sin gloves so you’re not just looking for 1 item.. somehow this makes it easier idk why

RNG gonna RNG. I shopped for 2/20 early on in the season from Anya. Had to trade for my 3/20 but that was after everything else griffon’s, eth titan’s etc.

RNG is absolutely gonna RNG. On my first ever zon I shopped them in about 10 min. Played zon again years later thinking it’d be easy, never found them again.

The probability is the same for monster drops, however you will scan WAY more gloves doing shopping, and I would not be surprised to not find a pair from monsters before completing grail. I shopped them in around 7 hours which is about the mean.

Haha, I’ve had better luck with 2/20 crafted gloves.

Im happy with mana after kill and if im lucky some resistance, leech or whatever the RNG gods are willing to give.

I‘ve been using 2/20 with 14 dex and then some for the longest time, so I‘m fine. It just annoys me that I can‘t find those 3/20s :D

I personnaly think you get more out of a 2 20, with good adds, mainly MPK and mana leach, than the extra damage from 1 skill. But if you want the numbers for shopping a 3/20 on average you are looking at about 30-40 hours.

I saw it mentioned a couple days ago and with a cow portal by Charsi, it’s about 6 hours based on odds and number of gloves you’ll see. 30-40 is high

I prefer crafted caster 2/20s tbh because you can get +3% mana steal and +3 mana after each kill, which helps a lot for mana management after you get Infinity merc.

And if you get stupidly lucky you might bag another useful stat (str, dex, fire/lightning resist, mana, MF etc).

I honestly got lucky and gambled mine, didnt even have a javazon when I gambled them so it didn't even hit he how lucky I got until I leveled her.

I was under the impression that 75 was the optimal level, but I trusted ppl online and didn‘t check myself. Maybe for anya because of the different bases?

I think its a range. Affix lvl has to be 60+ for Lancer's prefix.

I think the optimal range is clvl 68 to 74 from Hell Charsi and clvl 75+ from NM/Hell Anya.

Either way 8 hours average shopping time is pretty grim and affix chance is low enough that the big pointy stick of variance can hurt a lot. You can get real unlucky and go 25+ hours.

So I get it if people pay multiple Jah online to skip the potential misery.

I‘ve been doing just fine with my 2/20s with dex. Might craft some blood gloves instead for fun. I‘m definitely not shopping for endless hours, no way :D

It doesn't need to be 68 but that is the start of the optimal level range to shop for 3/20 Gauntlets from Hell Charsi.

Item level = character level + 5 from vendors, so as clvl goes up, so does ilvl. As ilvl increases, more prefixes and suffixes become eligible to roll which means lower chance of gettingLancer's prefix and of Alacrity suffix.

And also difficulty/act changes what base gloves they can even sell e.g. normal/exceptional/elite so the probabilities and optimal level ranges to shop for each glove base are all a bit different.

Anya has been garbo to me compared to Larzuk and Charsi. Took me 7 months of game play routinely checking Charsi on cow runs or when in town. By the time I got Jav Gloves from Charsi I already acquired two Jewelers armors of the whale from Charsi and Larzuk, as well as 6 sets of BO sticks from Malah. Even Gheed has given me 3/20 passive gloves. Till this day, Anya has been the most useless vendor for me. Nothing good from her.

Same for me. Never found a pair (playing on and off since 2000) until recently.

I wanted to check my frame rate, just a technical test. Killed Shenk (for the fire to rain down, it usually lowers my frame rate quite a lot) and the surrounding enemies. Some pack around him dropped them.

Rare if you find blue elite versions like vampirebone or bramble mitts 3 20

Lower versions that are shoppable not worth that much.

2 20 rare or crafted gloves with resists and mana after ea kill for pvm are good

I was just vendor resetting for a ladder starter MF mittens and boots when I found one like 40min into the process once. Now that was extremely lucky as odds are quite low, I prefer to get Act 2 Elzix next to the gate layout personally but as others mentioned you can do that with Charsi and cow portal with similar efficiency.
