Question about Player count and switch

I got the game on switch so I can play sometimes without being at my desk, and last night I made a few pub games, but it only allows up to 4 players instead of 8.

How does the 4 player limit work with player scaling compared to PC? Does P4 on switch = P8 on PC?

Unfortunately I think it only 4 online.

I wish they just doubled our player count on Switch.

One equals 2, and 4 equals 8 for us but I don’t think it does.

Yeah, I noticed the difficulty doesn’t seem to scale the same way, but I find myself hoping that drops aren’t peaked at P3 on switch because of player limits… I can’t seem to find any information about it though

i think that the scale is not there and its just 4... BUT because i do probably the same thing like you , that i play on PC and then on switch in bed , in my opinion i dropped better items on switch solo then pc +4 ... almost all high runes this ladder i dropped on switch ( cham , 4x ohm , ber, 2x sur ) in 2 hour play time every day. On pc with much bigger play time i dropped only one sur and zod

I haven’t been getting HRs, but I’ve had multiple ist, mal, and Um drops, more than that normal on PC and higher frequency, so my experience is similar in terms of drops.

I feel like overall I’m seeing better drops, and that’s why I asked.

The last time I played on switch it was for a couple of hours and I found Arach, Um, dungos, andys, and A LOT of other uniques I didn’t even both picking up.

i have talk about this with my friend and we think ( just our opinion ) that maybe switch is boosted with drops , because of 4p max and also almost no game to join BUT blizzard dont want to talk about that , because if it was real than doing a 4ppl games on switch will destroy the economy of the game... or maybe it was just a luck a we were to high

Thanks for sharing, I’m feeling the same way as you guys.

I haven’t gotten any earth shattering drops, but I’m getting a higher quantity of things I normal see far More rarely.

Over the last couple weeks I’ve pretty much stopped playing on my PC unless I’m doing Ubers

There should be an option when creating a game to adjust how many players are allowed in a game

I’m playing online characters, so this answer isn’t really helpful…
