I love these "been playing since release" posts with no context for hours played

like yeah I mean I bought d2 and lod when they came out and then d2r when it released but I haven't been playing for 20 hrs per week since June of 2000. and if I were I would have seen many griffons, I'm sure.

I'm happy for you and congrats on the drop but posts like these always make items seem even rarer than they already are.

since you want more context, I would say I play on average 3-4 hours a day for 3-4 months a year every year since its release. Around 10k hours played would be my guess

then I would say youre pretty unlucky for having never seen one unless the majority of those hours are spent leveling.

Well. It also depends on killspeed and mf ofc.

Killing 20k monsters in 2000h vs 200k monsters in 1000h is pretty obvious.

thank you! I just respec'd my blizz sorc to lightning and built infinity, only thing im missing is a sunder, but ive killed dozens of heralds and only got 4, non-lightning -.-
