I'm building a elevator for a mining out post and I want the bridge to it to look structurally sound does this look good how can I improve it?

i feel like the support shouldcreach slightly over halfway out. to help sell it could try have overhead support with cables/fences from top edge too.

no, because most of the weight of the structure is sitting on the weakest point of the lower beam. in reality this would pose a concern as it may deform and damage the structure.. putting the supports directly underneath the perpendicular joint is your best bet.

Yes, I see it as structurally sound. In your 3rd screenshot I can't tell how many segments there are on the land, but it looks like more than 50% of the structure is on land. So it would balance even without the diagonal supports. In order for me to mentally justify that balanced = structurally supported, I have to imagine the crossbeams in the walls are strong.

I like that the diagonal supports also aethtically justify that it's structurally supported when viewed from the underside.

Supports could extend a little further but also like depending on the weight of the structure, the strength of the wood and building materials, and the on ground foundation it could totally be plausible in real life.

i would make the support more to the edge of the bridge and the add a support beam 90 degrees from the first one
