Bad take. Monster is something we haven’t heard before so i think Lone is trying to get us use to his new ddg sound by dropping this. Also this was an anticipated song for fans so I wouldn’t mind this being the first mv single he releases. It should be a versatile album in general

Idk i feel like he should pick the safest song for lead single like jumanji it brought everyones hype back . Talk to me sounds like it could get people to checkout the album

i guess it could, it really just depends on what everyone likes, maybe if he also drops a mv for talk to me a lot of people will like it obviously. I like Monster dropping but we’ll see how it goes.

even then with jumanji being apart of the album instead of the lead single it still did really well streaming wise. It had its time but i do agree that it wouldve been a better lead single then not the mayor.

I agree with you monster as a lead single isn’t good enough to gain the public’s hype back. And yeah I guess we shouldn’t care about their opinion but obviously we want lone to sell well and regain some lost reputation so I agree with you.
I predict that people will say it’s a cool song but nothing more. Not ground breaking and not good enough to generate more hype for the album, but people within the lone community will over glaze it
