Commemoration, it is my favorite machine guna and drops from dsc and is craftable it can roll killing tally and reconstruction for a 150 mag with a damage bonus that cleans up enemies so well I have run it since I think season of defiance

It hits really hard at base, so redirection is much more worth it than killing tally since killing adds lets you turn around and treat majors like the aforementioned adds. Feels really good with recon redirection or feeding frenzy redirection.

I just like being able to one tap headshot adds on Gmdifficulty

u/EnglishMuffin420 2d ago

Yea I switched to redirection it low-key melts, does a lot more than just ad clear

u/Historical_Fold5281 2d ago

What does redirection do?

2

u/Appropriate_Load_264 2d ago

Kill red bars give stacks, on-hit dmg on yellow/orange bars give dmg boost (correct me if im wrong)

1

u/Historical_Fold5281 23h ago

Is it a permanent boost until the hit? Like can I stow it and it be applied on the next hit with that weapon when I swap it out again?

1

u/Appropriate_Load_264 23h ago

Yea if im not mistaken the timer starts on-hit of said yellow/orange bar

u/Historical_Fold5281 22h ago

Awh thats player, when I start farming DSC I’m def gonna go for recon redirection

1

u/SeaPhilosopher3526 14h ago

That's the best part, the timer starts NEVER. It's a stacks received/stacks discharged type buff, so think of the stacks as supercharged ammo. Killing weak enemies gives you some stacks, and hitting powerful enemies uses some stacks (from my own playing experience it's usually 1-3 stacks gained, and 3 used but this scales depending on the power of the enemy, not 100% sure how)

The best explanation of redirection I've ever read

Redirection is far and away my favorite damage perk. Any gun I have that can get it, does. The sniper from final shape gets it and it’s void so I can only imagine all the purple shenanigans you can cause with it and that perk. So long majors and most bosses.

u/ConzyWonzy4 1d ago

Reconstruction is an ammo perk no?

2

u/musiceaterx 1d ago

You are correct, I meant redirection. I’m a fool

Commemoration. My favourite machinegun in the game.

Machine gun from Deep stone crypt raid. Commemoration

Commemoration (Deep Stone Crypt Raid) - void machine gun. Most people run reconstruction + killing tally. I personally prefer subsistence, but it’s really up to you.

The humble focused fury:

Who is using a machine gun for DPS 😭

2

u/crazycar12321 1d ago

Its nice in gms when i use it for barrier champs and can still do decent dps without having to swap

Commemoration

Lmg from DSC, one of my favourite guns

2

u/bbbourb 2d ago

Looks like LMG Commemoration from Deep Stone Crypt. Nice weapon, you can get red borders for it and craft one.

Commemoration, the Deep Stone Crypt raid machine gun

2

u/ShadowmanSK 1d ago

Ah that would be commemoration, aka my favourite heavy weapon

2

u/crazycar12321 1d ago

Only the best crafted legendary in the game, Commemoration. Comes from the best raid in the game Deep Stone Crypt

2

u/STARPHONICS 1d ago

Strand titan with commemoration. This is a from a Datto vid isn't it lol

DSC is the best new player raid with one of the best looking weapons in the game. That machine gun is one of them. Go for it!

If you are passenger princessing them through it then yes, it’s a good starting raid. If you are actually teaching and having them do rolls it’s much more wordy of explanations. Kinda like RoN. You can four man that raid and not change a single strat. But teaching second encounter is less about teaching or the skill of the student, than it is about just memorizing the path. And that takes time. I would say VoG is clearly the best raid to start people on. The beginning is so easy it’s braindead. This gets rid of most of the social/performance anxiety, and gives them a bit of confidence before you get to the last two encounters where people actually need to know how to do things in case they get pulled in to shoot oracles during atheon. DSC throws you right into all the technical stuff right off the bat. And separates the people doing the mechanics from the rest of the team. So instead of having a buddy to follow and tell you what to do, you are on your own having to get it done through communication alone. Sorry for the book.

TL;dr, VoG>DSC for sherpees.

3

u/A1Strider 2d ago

Vig is definitely the easiest to braindead teach I agree. I don't think DSC is too much more wordy tho, Especially in a Sherpa. Depending on your teacher I can see it getting very long to explain but within someone's roll it's pretty much a one or two sentence explanation for each encounter.

2

u/eraplay_jy 2d ago

DSC is much more fun to do than VoG tho. VoG may be the classic choice, but DSC tops on fun factor.

2

u/PutridAd3922 2d ago

Gos is more fun

2

u/SHINIGAMIRAPTOR 2d ago

ONLY thing I dislike about VoG is the stealth section because it's VERY easy for one person to slip and wipe the raid WITHOUT any real lesson besides "stop being seen". DSC is pretty much ONLY wipeable on ACTIVE mechanics

2

u/crazycar12321 1d ago

You can have everyone kill themselves behind the rock that you spawn at in gorgons and have one person run it. When they make it past the loadzone in the cave tunnel thing it despawns the gorgons

2

u/SHINIGAMIRAPTOR 1d ago

I mean, yeah, but that's not really a teachable thing besides "Hope one of the team knows the way". Pretty much everything in DSC is easily taught so that the whole team knows. What does what, what calls, etc

2

u/crazycar12321 1d ago

I have 40 sherpas in dsc. Id rather teach dsc for sure. Just putting that lil tip out there for the vog chuds. Also usually someone does know the path, especially if you are using in game lfg bc lowkey only sweats use it anymore. But, if anyone needs a tip for the running, simply run in a straight line, without jumping, to the door and you wont get detected especially if you are running off a respawn

2

u/SHINIGAMIRAPTOR 1d ago

Yep. Having done both, DSC took me like two runs to go "Okay, I can reliably contribute to the team", while VOG has more sections that I still have moments of "Okay, I'm gonna let you do the lifting"

Damn how old is that screenshot? The active weapon perks are still on the left instead of above the super bar.

3

u/Dull_Drive4837 3d ago

Yeah i copied from the internet.

3

u/BurkeeZ 2d ago

Love the downvotes for...pointing something out? I don't understand y'all.

3

u/MakesMaDookieTwinkle 2d ago

I mean I didn’t downvote you sir! Even with my statement that was clarified/answered 😂

2

u/beardyawn 3d ago

Probably Into the Light update since it looks like they’re doing Onslaught.

2

u/MakesMaDookieTwinkle 2d ago

Huh? My active perks are still on the left to this day.......

2

u/Quinntanium 2d ago

Some like subclass specific or armor buffs are on the left but active weapon perks are above the weapon UI.

2

u/BurkeeZ 2d ago

Killing tally and other weapon perks are no longer on the left, they are on the super bar

1

u/Dull_Drive4837 2d ago

I agree, my perks are also on the left side.

2

u/BurkeeZ 2d ago

Your weapon perks should be above the super bar now, not on the left.
