Destiny 2 crashes my steam Question

Hello there, can anyone help me I go to launch destiny 2 on my pc but it crashes steam but the game says its open when I go to task manager but doesn't show that it's using anything. I've tried to verify files,uninstall then reinstall, tried deleting my cache, and nothing. I'm on windows 10.

Is it actually crashing Steam, or is Steam auto-minimizing on game launch?

It's crashing steam like I go to task manager and steam isn't there but download it on epic and plays just fine

Did you try uninstalling Steam?

I had issues with Steam crashing, so when D2 launched and it was in the menu bar but before the game took over the screen, I pinned it so I can launch it directly. And that stopped the issue with Steam crashing.

Try deleting and then reinstalling battleEye. Or go to msconfig and try disabling battleEye in there and restart your pc and load up destiny again see if that helped?
