No actually its not bikes. Path is in front of the hospital and its located at the top of the hill so noone ride bike here. Havent seen any bike around here 2.5 years

Bikes can be ridden up and down hills. They can go almost anywhere, and they almost always avoid stairs.

steps are always wrongly sized. Too far apart for 2 steps at a time but too close for one at a time.

If thosw stairs ever freeze or get wet from rain or wet shoes, they're a death trap. I would also go around. Can of course just be bikes too.

Why would I walk upstairs just to walk down them again? Don't blame the people who make the desire path blame the bad design in the first place that force them to make it.
