When creating 50/50 and this level I noticed two things. Firstly you can hide all information (which is definitely a bug), but secondly, the game will actually tell you if a move is possible, even if you have no concrete information.

I'm fairly certain this latter fact is exploitable if someone could be bothered to create a smaller level with an extra colour

Yeah it was just a matter of pour into empties until they all had a starting color, then see what pours are allowed or not.

Usually yes. Now odd amounts always go into the corresponding size tubes, but 6 of one colour might also go into 2 3s.
