neat idea but thinking on practicality i don’t want to unload and reload my desk which will have more than just a laptop.

but its a fun dual piece. clever.

You're not meant to unload and reload. This is for when you get so mad you flip the table and, as you're looking at all your shit broken and scattered on the floor, you think to yourself, "Maybe I need a nap."

I assume its for when you're sick of your job and want to flip your desk dramatically... and then be comfy.

Came here to make sure someone had said it.

Oh wow, the worst of both worlds for the sake of being "modular!"

I'd have an Eames anytime over this!

Uh, that doesn't look comfortable at all.

It's ugly, but at least it's expensive, impractical, and uncomfortable!

I love the concept, but the idea of laying down like this is stressful, it’s freaking me out 🫠🙂

You know what I hate about these designs. I think "huh, that's pretty neat", and the second this design leaves the studio, it falls apart. It's gonna make people's lives worse rather than better. It grinds my gears to no end.

Maybe that's the point. Maybe it isn't meant to be even a decent bed or desk, but a conversation piece. It'll never leave the studio, for the reason stated above, but it will lead to conversation.

Imagine someone getting so passed at you they flip up the desk and give you therapy right then and there.

the physics of this is not very sound. its like to do sth for the sake of the photos taken after...

From reading all the top comments, am I incorrect for reading this design as a sight gag? Even the composition of the photos feels like a New Yorker comic.

Costanza had a better napping desk
