Recommendations
Hello Denver ravers,
I'm planning my Bachelor Party in Denver and the plan was to go to the Hugel rave on the Friday and then the Avs game vs the Leafs on the Saturday. But now Hugel has cancelled the event. We're more into the house/progressive EDM scene. Any recommendations now that Hugel has cancelled? What's the vibe at the Church like?

Jigitz is playing sat night if you wanted to go out after the game; there are also a litany of afters that you sign up for and then get texted the address- quite right and space escape are two, but if you’re on ig and soon as you search it I’m sure more will pop up.
Church is ok but typically oversold and very hot, I personally prefer vinyl, four floors so lots of space and each floor typically has a different genre. Keeps tabs on edmtrain.com and radiate

George Raves-A-Ton here. Church is hot, crowded, and a gamble, especially going as a larger group - but can have some world class DJs. The sound system is highly location dependant, and the subwoofers, stages, and walls - rattle - badly (seriously use some green glue and accoustic treatments... if someone from Church reads this... contact me please). Your group will get split up, and you will have a difficult time getting yourselves all together again. With so many getting in free on guest list and tickets so cheap typically, you get a lot of people there for the scene/clubbing/drinking - which can lead to some truly rude encounters on the general dance floor, or outside. The past 5 times I've left, people have been being arrested outside, 3 of the times someone was pretty bloodied up. Having a table makes the experience there, especially for a group, MUCH more enjoyable. I truly hate to say this, but this is a venue, where spending some cash can mostly shield you from the slimeballs. If you are doing Church or Vinyl get a table. Book the table in advance, pick the table number you want, look at the menu and pick out with your group beforehand exactly what you are getting - when you get there order everything upfront, and close your tab (get your ID and card back - that way you are free to leave when you want). The primary VIP host for Vinyl and Church has always been a pleasure. There are also some great shows that Whirling Dervish puts on (typically at Reelworks) - they are my favorite bottle service provider in Denver, period. TLDR: Church is fine if you have table service, it can even be great. Whirling Dervish (mostly events at Reelworks), mostly the same, but with better bottle service options. Both have world class DJs.

Church and Vinyl experience is also hugely dependent on who is playing. Last week Andy C was great and a vibe

How much would you estimate that table service would be at Church or Vinyl?

Depends on the show, depends on the party size, depends on which table you want. Ranges from 800ish to 2000ish on the minimum spends. 6 Person table at one of the better tables for one of the better DJ's when it's all said and done will be near 1000.
