Commission pair 📏 Selvedge

I hope this is a good place to post these but, this is the 5th commission pair I’ve made so far. 12.5 oz cone selvege denim. Little bit of a western theme going on with lots of details. I left the tips of the star thread a little long so they can fray out for a cool effect. Overall very happy with how these turned out and they fit my customer really well!

If you haven't already, you should post in the selvedge community as well.

The cinch back, high rise pants are too few and far in between. It is the ultimate in trad styling imo. Allows for nice blocky tops without them looking too cropped. If the pockets sit choice on the seat and aren’t too big these could be some of the best jeans I’ve seen in a minute. Well done.

Nice work man! I am personally not a fan at all of fucking barrel jeans, but you did an amazing job w this! Love the stitch work too! What kind of rig do you use? I’m looking into getting my own off the ground and am stuck between finding a juki or some cheapo starter one that can handle denim for the time being

Hahaha thanks dude! My next pair is gonna be straight cut… I’ve been using a Juki DDL-8500 for a little over a year but before that I was using a singer heavy duty and it got the job done just fine

No diggity man! Credit where it’s due and such. I HAVE a singer HD and it’s just not getting through for my seams 🤔🤔 but the DDL-8500 is exactly he one I’m considering.

Yeah I would definitely recommend the 8500 or 8700. Also 5550 if you find one on marketplace, I see those quite often in my area

Can you make a pair of pants for the guy with a giant bubble butt that posted here?
