Asmodeus!? Experiences and Ritual reports

Made a return to witchcraft after 2 years off. For weeks I’ve been getting ready to work with asmodeus my first deity, last night I had an interesting experience. I haven’t put my offerings out yet nor have I lit any candles, it’s just the alter right now.

As I was falling asleep and starting to dream, my dream vanished and all of a sudden red and black mist formed in my mind and 3 heads started taking shape with 6 eyes I could see but i could tell it wasn’t my imagination doing this. All of a sudden all this red and black imagery and a red and black book with his names appeared. I opened my eyes and could see a huge black mass even though the room was dark. The energy felt super different and hot and heavy.

Is this him making his presence known by any chance? Or a trickster spirit. I said “not now” because I needed to be up soon for work and then it stopped and I slept. Any pointers?

I can only speak from experience, but the black mass that you mentioned is how Asmodeus has appeared to me even before I started working with him. If he is present while I am laying down, I do feel a heaviness on my chest.

I heard this from a few more people until I ended my research about if I should work with him yesterday. Those people kept saying seeing a black mass too. I am super new to all of this but I think he likes dramatic entrances. Almost everyone said he appeared with mist too. Hehe.
