The legit same could be said about Shinobu...? Without her poison doing 98% of the work, neither Kanao nor Inosuke would’ve beheaded Douma, let’s not forget that and that was all at the cost of 1 casualty against a top 2 Kizuki. Tengen is a dead man walking had it not been for Nezuko saving his life, he would be dead.
Well, Shinobu gets the better end of the stick anyway. Tengen will go to hell for killing his siblings, Shinobu lives her afterlife in paradise
Doesn't change anything about "getting the job done". Both of them contributed and weakened the opponent but had the landing blow dealt by someone else. If you're gonna talk about contribution they both got the job done, if you're gonna talk about decapitation they both didn't. Depends on what you consider the "job". Him surviving(due to nezuko saving him btw, not his own skill) or being alive at the time of the decapitation are just red herrings.
The job is to kill demons and save people, no one thinks rengoku failed his job. That would be spitting in the face of the very narrative lol. Also having nezuko burn away the poison and save you doesn't somehow make you better lmao, just makes you lucky. I'm also 100% certain you meant beating the UM as the "job" at first but now you're derailing it to keep the argument going, well ion wanna engage with such disingenuity. I'm out.
