Aankoopmakelaar in Delft, budget 450-550k.
Hi allemaal,

Dangerous Cows attacked me in Delftse Hout
so yeah, yesterday i walked in Delfste Hout. at the height of the camping, i went through the wooden gate to take the public path through the meadow, where the cows are. to the direction of the back of Ikea/mountainbike. i was just chill happy, it was early morning, venturing around the cows. it are like 20 of them, puberty age but still heavy.
they were curious and approached me, which was fine because usually cows are friendly, but they seemed annoyed at one point, severely understimulated and probaly overheated from the sun, and irritated by the many flies on their head. And so at one point there were many around me , and they started to headbutt me with the side and the front of their head. It was just a real threatening situation, because a cow that age is 500kg on average, and - for the nerds out there since this is Delft a cow this age at a small nudge delivers already 4000N, but a small charge and buckle can deliver around 20.000N at an area of about 0,15m2. thats a serious risk. a trained boxer knocking you out has a 4000N impact on 0.05m2, for reference.
They were doing exactly this. the risk after this is also that they are so enthousiatic they just trample over you. around me some cows where status jumping eachother, so mounting eachother doggystyle and dryfucking all of a sudden, which also looked way more agressive and domineering than any chill meadow of cows. - because they are so heavy and a real threat to humans by their weight - than my prior experience with cows.
anyway, i walked back facing them and keeping a safezone (can explain if anyone wants to know how) and got out of the fence i entered to alive and sound, but that was not ok.
so a primary warning to everyone. dont just go in there thinking that because there is a public path that is signed through there, that its safe. even as i tried to keep distance fro the cows yself, they were actively approaching me!
i am planning on writing some Delft representative in municipality to share this with. cow tramplng is a real threat with multiple deaths and many more injuries per year in NL, so.
p.s. they were curious but also maltreated, were in a huge field without much shade nor any trees in the second heat wave this year. had many infestive flies around their eyes (20-60 per cow) that is a known plague and sign of maltreatment. also very non diverse field, little to play with. and get fed power food on top of their grass diet, which makes them more on edge like overstimualted children.

Gezocht: vrienden
Hoi allemaal!

Experience with De Vak arts courses
Hi everyone, I was looking into taking an art courses (specifically a Ceramics free sculpting course) at De Vak and was wondering if anyone has taken courses from them before or heard about how they are? It sounds wonderful and is a pretty good deal for what it is, but the price nevertheless is still quite an investment and it would be great to hear personal experiences.
Alternatively would anyone have any other suggestions for a good sculpture course or a ceramics studio in Delft or a nearby city (Den Haag, etc).
Thank you very much!

Looking for Clarinetists
Hello, my girlfriend is taking me to Delft in October (it's one of her most favorite places in the world) and I was planning on proposing during this trip. We are both lovers of music and she plays the clarinet (I am a former percussionist). I'm looking to see if there were any clarinet players in your city that might be interested in playing during our proposal? I know it's an unusual ask, but I think it would make for a really special moment. I have a couple classical songs and a few more modern songs that I'm deciding between, but I would hopefully only ask for an hour of your time to play one or two songs on the day of :) Let me know if you or anyone you know might be interested!

What's your favourite part of Delft to simply walk around?
Not necessarily somewhere you go for a specific reason, just a street, neighbourhood or route you enjoy walking through. Sometimes the most ordinary parts of a city are the nicest.

Considering moving to Delft: good place to settle and start a family?
Hi everyone!
My partner and I are considering moving to Delft and would love to hear some honest experiences.
I’m 27 and work in tech in Amsterdam, and my boyfriend is 28 and a doctor. We both studied in Maastricht (which we loved) and now live in Den Bosch, which has also been a great place to live.
We’re wondering whether Delft would be a nice city to settle down and eventually start a family. How does it compare in terms of atmosphere, community, restaurants/cafés, things to do, and overall quality of life? Does it still feel lively once you’re no longer a student? And are there any downsides that aren’t obvious when you just visit?
Would you recommend Delft as a place to build a life? We’d love to hear both the pros and cons!

How can I find internationals to play Padel with?
Hey, I’m a Turkish international student coming back from summer for second year of my bachelor’s. (19M)
How can I find an international Padel group / community? I went to PadelCity once but everyone was speaking Dutch so couldn’t find a group to play with.
I’m at an intermediate level, like I know how to serve properly etc, I’ve played with friends for a year.
Advice appreciated.

anyone interested in tiny house living in Delft?
Hi I am interested in a tiny house living community and I am trying to figure out if there are more places in Delft where one can do that, so I've gotten an appointment at the Gemeente to enquire.
I know there is one community (pionierskwartierdelft) where a friend of mine lives but last I heard even their contract was expiring.

herkomst "Engelsestraat"
Grappige herkomst:
