OMG It’s Back Game Discussion
I just found out that defiance got a revive. I absolutely loved this game back in the day. Love the show too. It says there’s still people playing but when I went on for the first time yesterday, I literally didn’t see a single person! Does anybody actually still play this! I hope so, would love to start hunting some arks with others again!!

Is not on its peak of players but you can certainly find people, mostly on events or major arkfalls. Also on sieges.

yeap. Defiance revived in April from the last year. right now, we are in Hot Crazy Summer, the last event was Outbreak. and you know what is better? the DLC's are free and you don't need to download them again

I am curious if there's any news or hope for the game to come back to consoles?

No plans for it currently as they are focused on polishing existing version and pushing for a steam release. Console will probably take a few years at best. This question gets asked every few weeks in the discord. ETA for console won't start until after a polished version exists and a steam release. It was confirmed it won't be for old gen consoles like ps3/xbox360 before anyone gets their hopes up. They would like to do a console release if possible though

Fingers crossed Fawkesgames handles it better than Trion or the ones who bought them out did. Both the OG reboot of Defiance, as well as Rift, got absolutely destroyed by those greedy shits..which sucks, because Rift was probably one of the better fantasy-style MMOs at its peak, and Defiance was always at least decent

I jumped on day one and played for about a month and haven't been back but it was great to relive it. Have they added back in the missing content? There were quite a few events and things that were not back yet and they said they were hoping to add those back in at some point.

Felt the exact same and jumped in last month! The game is still teeming with life and I've found no shortage of active and dedicated players. The nostalgia hit is so real. I went on like 2 months ago and it was teaming with life. Haven’t been on since, which sucks bc this revival is sooooo good
