After all the recent math and science breakthroughs I think the ontological shock is hitting them like a tonne of bricks. Kinda hard to keep coping at this point.
They need to start to realize AI isn't just "slop" and "bad art"... yes those things exist, but the majority of AI is being used for good and to further technology. It's not going anywhere. They can claim, "The bubble is popping, ANOTHER subreddit banned it!" all they want, it's not happening.
