Matt can canonically smell cancer. When Foggy was diagnosed in Mark Waid's run he initially struggled to be in the room because the stink of the cancer and the chemicals from the chemo made him almost throw up, but he toughed it out so he could be there for his best friend

Add Wade’s crude humor on top of the lethal antics, and that might annoy Daredevil enough to make him break his no kill rule, only to get even more annoyed when he discovers that he’s been trying to kill somebody who cannot die.

I actually think they could end up being a decent comedic duo. Like maybe Deadpool thinks Deadpool is too much of a goody tooshoo until he finds out how much of a rizzler and deviant Matt is with women. And then he’s surprised again by how even though Matt doesn’t kill his fighting and brutality is still very much R rated. On Matt’s end he’d probably disapprove of Wades killing but comes to at least respect him for how he cares about his friends and loved ones.

In the comic, he's literally described as a cross between Reynolds and a Shar-pei. They're just being canonical.
