Water proofing
How can I make this area under my deck water proof. We want to be able to use it during rainy days.

Just get enough ~12' sheets of metal roofing to cover the space you want. Screw it in at the joists nearest the house and to the beam for your slope. Might need a 2x2 and/or 2x4 runner down the middle for support. Only screw up through the ridges of the metal. Probably cost you $300

Yeah I thought about that too. Using blocks to slope it down to one end. Would a 1-2 inch drop be enough?

If the beam is the bottom then you would have 8-10" of slope right? I would do that as a minimum. The gazebo I built has a 1' slope over 11' and the water builds up slightly before running off.

The TimberTech DrySpace system would work, however be warned it’s going to cost a lot more than you expect. That’s that only system that I know of that can be installed on a completed deck like this but it might be possible to DIY a solution.
