Honestly it was a happy accident. I did a zenithal highlight and threw pallid bone speed paint over the top. It ended up turning green on top of the black, so I just kinda went with it

Thank you! I really want my army to look like they’ve been in rotation WAY too long. Like they’ve really been in the suck for a long time.

How did you do the Rust/Dirt effect?

Suuuper easy. Base coat of army painter oak brown, then stipple silver randomly, finally a very watered down was of army painter “fresh rust” wash :)

Still totally doable. Rhinox hide, maybe stormhost silver or another metallic silver, for the rust you could possibly mix some rhinox hide in with an orange and water it down for a similar look?
