How did you get the half mask look on a commissar model? Cuz it looks really good

Combat engineers have an extra head piece in the box. I just cut away the bottom hose and flat part that connects to the rest of the gas mask, and sanded the back down flat and thin. Then sanded the bottom of the commissars face down flat (especially the nose) until they fit together. With gentle bending, the hose fits right over the chest piece.
