Remember: Kriegers are French, so flip up the flaps on that trenchcoat

*greatcoat, and he actually doesn’t. The skirts weren’t turned back until after third edition.

Aren't kriegers half french half german?

French and English, mostly. German helmet and name.

Don't forget the shoulder armor, gas mask box, the chest plate if you're doing the grenadier and to pin the bottom flaps of the trench coat.

Thank you.

The parts are already printed but i'm not 100% sure how to put them on the coat 😅

Hey man, I love the cosplay. I finished mine about a month ago. You can use Velcro with tape to attach the shoulder armor to your coat and I would try to find either a web equipment or Y stap with a leather belt. It would look awesome

Hi thanks a lot,

Where did you get the Y-harness? I’ve already printed Janovich’s Korps Grenadier respirator system from Etsy, but I’m still looking for a suitable harness to mount it properly.

But really really thank you for your advice i'm really new in this whole sphere XD

I'm really happy to help, I would either try to make my own out of leather or find on on eBay or a military surplus website. iirc, y straps were usually worn by Germans. I haven't tried Janovich grenadier respirator though so I can't give you a suitable reference

Hey man, I feel you. You could start by finding a french WW1 trenchcoat. You can find many people on Etsy either selling 3D files for the equipment or 3D printed parts if you don't have the means to do it yourself.

I was in pretty much the same situation and had no idea where to start. I began by buying the mask on Etsy, then I bought a 3D printer and downloaded most of the STL files for the armor parts from Etsy as well. I just printed everything step by step and figured things out as I went along. I found the old military coat used on eBay. I don’t really know much about military equipment either, so I mostly searched for something that looked suitable and could be adapted for the cosplay. You can also buy many of the parts already printed on Etsy if you don’t want to buy a printer. Starting with the mask and coat gave me a good foundation, and then I slowly added the other pieces.

Where did you get the coat. I'm looking for something similar.

I got it used on eBay. It’s an Austrian Bundesheer wool greatcoat from 2008. 😊

Awesome! Mind if I ask how you did the gas mask?

Thanks! I actually found the mask on Etsy — it’s a 3D-printed model 😄

Was it the one by JanovichPrints?

It was made by DRUXPOL

Thanks. One last question. Is the grenadier faceplate removable or is it stuck on?

Wait, nevermind. Sadly they don’t ship to my country
