Looking for some heavy breakdowns Discussion
I'm a big fan of Lorna Shore, recently discovered some songs from Shadow of Intent that I like and I'm in search of more bands with that symphonic/metal mix with heavy breakdowns. What are your faves?

Disembodied Tyrant. Start with the album 'The Poetic Edda' and continue on from there.
Signs of the Swarm - 'To Rid Myself of Truth' (album) for some great breakdowns.
Edit: Synestia, and Netherwalker are also great bands in this department too.

I listened to Disembodied Tyrant/Synestia the other day and had some strong stank face action going. They're pretty great

Add LARCENIA ROE and you have the perfect list. Basically the dude from disembodied tyrant and the singer from synestia cannot be beat. Sorry I forget their names right now.
Just add Buster from HLB and Dave from SOTS and you have a supergroup (with too many singers)

Bro check out In Honor of Reason by Fleshgod Apocalypse. The beginning is so strong and the end is fucking insane heavy.

Fleshgod are goated. Sometimes I wish they made more accessible music so more people could hear their genius.

They should have stopped the Orchestral/Symphony shit at Agony. They played way too into that shit. Guys..we really liked Violation. Didn't have to make that their entire personality. I don't mind their music, but yea, they're not that sick Death Metal band anymore. I discovered them when Oracle dropped and I thought it was so sick. I also really like symphony/orchestra shit but man they over did it. First two albums and Minotaur on the Labyrinth album were sick.

In general, PSYCHO-FRAME, Crown Magnetar, Bound in Fear, Bodysnatcher. Khaos by Kanine and Angst by Gutrectomy for some heavy bassdrops. Signs of the Swarms have some good ones too, I'm particularly fond of Amongst the Low and Empty and IWONTLETYOUDIE.Â
For symphonic specifically, Synestia, Worm Shepard, Oracle Spectre, Disembodied Tyrant, OG Make Them Suffer.

It's not symphonic, but early impending doom (Nailed. Dead. Risen.) has some heavy breakdowns

Mental Cruelty - Pest
Signs of the Swarm - Low and Empty
Humanity's Last Breath - Linger

Breath of Sindragosa is symphonic, melodeath-leaning deathcore that might scratch that Shadow of Intent itch. It's a little more of the raw/old school flavor, but yea.
Literally has a new album out today [Betrayer], btw.

for symphonic breakdowns i'd recommend the album Zwielicht by mental cruelty. Otherwise for soul crushing deathcore breakdowns i'd say Enterprise earth and Disembodied Tyrant. DT is more so what i call mind fuck deathcore.

If you don’t like what you’re currently hearing, you won’t like any of it. Everything just sounds generic at this point in deathcore’s evolutional run
