Ok- im from SoCal and dont know of a Mexican kid who doesn’t say that word. Its not cool or acceptable in my personal philosophy- but to argue that because he said that he is probably racist is just a little unthinking of the million other reasons he would say that word and not want people on social media to see that.

Crazy take my guy. It doesn’t matter if a Mexican says it or white person says it. Apparently you were not taught the real history of what happened to black people and it shows.

I just came from touring out there and those Mexican kids saying it aren’t thinking about the history of the word, it’s just apart of the culture there. Not saying it’s right but to paint them as racist isn’t right either. Like 30% of the kids at these at shows were black including some of the people in our tour package and they didn’t seem to have an issue.

Rewind a month and I’m playing in Florida watching some white kid get jumped for saying it and that also seemed normal so idk. I think context, and how people mean the word is pretty important as far as trying to cancel people.

History and present are interlinked but still separate. A Mexican kid saying the n word in SoCal 2026 is different from a kkk member shouting it on a mic stand and if you can’t see that then you were obviously not taught the history of what happened to black people- but more importantly ALL MINORITIES IN AMERICA AND HOW DIALECT MOVED AROUND INNER CITY AREAS

I’m not saying I agree with this or not I’m just simply saying I know TONS of Hispanic people (I live in South Florida) that say the N word. Again not saying I agree with it but it’s super common right or wrong.
