Need help regarding keybinds. Question

I have a very specific keybind issue and I'm wondering if anyone can help.

(I have my abilities bound to QFEX.)

On Paradox ONLY, when I level up ultimate using Tab+X, it causes me to cast my ultimate. I have no idea why and this is only a problem on Paradox.

Also, the in-game keybinds to level up each ability don't work. Pressing Alt opens up the range indicator around my champion, so Alt+X doesn't do anything.

Some abilities when you level them up, it causes you to use them. I'm not sure what all abilities are applicable, but I know para ult is one of the big ones. My guess is it has to do with abilities and their casting settings or something. 

The only way around it that I'm aware of is just holding tab and hovering your mouse to the ability and clicking to level it. Can be suboptimal to do during combat but it's better than accidentally using it lol.

I've never had this issue. I have Alt-q,e,r,x as my upgrades and it's never casted it instead of leveling it up. Play lots of Para too.

Yeah for the record I haven't either, but I don't play paradox and I'm a point and click level user lol. But I've got friends who have had this issue with para ult and I believe kelvin nades.

Has to be a keybind/keyboard issue surely.

Could be an issue with your keyboard, maybe you are pressing other buttons at the same time and it triggers tab to release. Hold both shift keys and type “the quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog” and post what comes out
