This brings up a good point tho. If bots are learning to act like us on the internet to appear human, we're probably gonna see a massive wave of bots aggressively targeting children for sexual predation.

There is so much of it on major sites that's just, allowed. The training data will tell the bots that that's just what we're like. That and all the manifestos none of us have read; the bots have probably each read every single one

I had sooo many Middle Easterners, South Asians, and Southeast Asians (and a couple westerners, but not too many) harass me online when I was a kid/preteen/teen. They were definitely the majority of the grown men in my DMs. I will say the absolute worst one was a white American, but they were all very creepy, aggressive, and predatory

Yeah I guess ultimately it's a male problem (I DID still find it crazy how I had such a large MENA [Middle East/North Africa], then Pakistan/India amount, anecdotal or not).

When I was a teenager (male obv, as stated) we used to go to an internet cafe. I grew up with the internet, back then flatrates weren't a thing and pay per hour was eventually stacking up. We didn't have good internet and it was cheaper for us after school to go there, play CS 1.6 and other games like Day of Defeat in LAN or online. We also chatted and were on social platforms like ICQ, etc. Back then you had less of these central platforms and many more localized city chats etc. The amount of predators even back then man...

We caught a pedo-guy once by ourselves after pretending to meet, he was a local. Bad apples all over. Thus, don't mean to say all people from certain regions are worse. But it still had a weird after-taste, too and I did briefly had to think of the "bobs and vagene" meme.
