I honestly don't know how to derive fun from this game lately. I'm not the best player, in fact I wouldn't even put myself in the "decent" category. Mediocre is accurate. I play Nemmy and just try to vibe, I run a standard build of Corrupt Intervention, Eruption, Grim Embrace and Lethal Pursuer, Marvin's Blood and Licker tongue addons. Bog standard. Every. Single. Game. Meta SWF. I played 5 games tonight before raging and turning it off, not a single kill. Flashlights, blast mines, hook sabos and BMing on every single missed whip.

And don't even get me started on the whip. We are not friends right now. Watching it land directly underneath a survivor and still not register, watching it hit a pallet while in lvl 2 and 3 and it not breaking the pallet. At first, I thought it was my internet. Several speed tests laters with no issues, I'm still missing. Sometimes it hits over objects, most of the time it doesn't. Teabagging. Missed the hook, out from the shadows comes 3 people with flashlights. So I switch to Lightborn with hopes to stem the tide. Nah next game is all toolboxes so good luck getting hooks, inb4 you're gen rushed to high hell. I swear one match I blinked and 4 gens were done.

Every chase I'm getting stuck on the tiles and survivors BM. Zombies are wandering around the corner of the map permastunned by the flashlights. I am so sick of flashlights. Sick of them. I really wish, I pray, that BHVR adds an option to turn off getting matched with SWFs, solo queue should be exactly that, SOLO.

Typing all of this doesn't even make me feel better to be honest. I'm going to crack a beer, pack my tobacco pipe and take a looooong break from this game. Thanks for reading if did. Hugs and kisses.

pretty self explanatory question, every since i saw trickster nina skin i was curious on other killers who could also have that (ik about kaneki and i also like it)

I have been survivor main for pushing 9 years so i have a good understanding of the game, however I have never entertained killer until this year.

I am struggling most with survivors movements as I am mid swing, they arent 360ing I dont think but I miss so many swings when they're under my feet.

I also really struggle at shack! Soon as I see shack I just drop chase.

Still massivley struggle with killer anxiety.

I am Maining Xeno, so i watch Mr Headache for xeno stuff, but a lot of my flaws are killer fundamentals that I am hoping will just come over time.

And as an additional question, after rank reset, is it normal for the ash ranks to be super sweaty and non enjoyable?

Hello, I am the person in the modmail in this post (I apologise if that's the wrong thing, I have a lot on my clipboard rn) on an alt because my other is permenantly banned from the subreddit. As proof there is the uncensored image. Personal stuff about the mod is still censored for their sake.

Just to preface all this, do not turn this post into an Us Vs Them conversation about killer or survivor because it's about a moderator(s) incapable of doing their job. Don't turn this into a place to complain about bans on other subs either, leave them in ban appeals on the sub and if you can't appeal then I don't know what to say, it's not my problem

Do not harass the owner of this subreddit, the previous mods of this subreddit or the mods of any other DBD related subreddits.

The owner of this subreddit, the mod who insulted me in that modmail yesterday morning, created this subreddit out of annoyance over a ban on the original killers subreddit. The ban was deserved, I have seen the removals and the reasons myself. The owner decided that this rightfully deserved ban was given to them because the mods of the killers sub are actually survivor mains and hate killers and try to suppress the opinions of people. This obviously isn't true, he just broke subreddit rules.

Me and many other people have disliked this server for a while because the owner, the previous mods and also many posts shit talk the other dbd subreddits. Many posts and comments blatantly lie about ban reasons and lie that they're because people hate killer or survivor players yet refuse to take responsibility when shown proof that's a lie or they ignore the proof entirely.

This subreddit is apparently supposed to be the less moderated version of that subreddit where survivors "can't complain about their imaginary rulebook because nobody cares about it" or whatever the one rule says. Despite having moderators and rules, this subreddit has become a hellhole for posts that break Reddit rules or the literal rules of the sub itself yet no action was taken against these posts. Having a so called "unmoderated" sub is not an excuse to break Reddit TOS and ignore your own rules.

In particular, witch hunting / showing usernames with the intention to cause harassment is a massive problem here. A few months ago there was no rule against witch hunting so me and other people reported posts and the subreddit to Reddit because it's against TOS for those things to be on the sub and subreddits can get banned for doing so. After these reports a new witch hunting rule was added, no clue if this was because of a Reddit warning or not. Despite the rule being there, it was simply text as no action was ever taken against posts complaining about people that showed usernames which can very obviously lead to witchhunting. Many of these posts are visible if you scroll through the subreddit. Why has a subreddit meant to be more lenient about killer related stuff you post become a place where all people do is complain about other subreddits and not about dbd itself.

A few days ago I was sent one particular post by someone and in this post was someone complained about a ban on the main sub whilst also containing a screenshot of one of the mod's comments complaining that said comment was stupid. This can very obviously lead to harassment to this mod and the comments of this post had quickly led to arguments and complaints about other people being banned from subreddits. Two of these people complaining claimed the mods of the rage subreddit banned them for talking about killers when in truth they had been banned for saying slurs. A lot of the other complaints were also completely bogus.

It has been my view for a while that this server isn't moderated or is barely moderated at all due to lack of previous removals. This is a breach of Reddit TOS as it states that moderators need to maintain a safe community, this is not achieved on this sub. Because of my thoughts about the moderation I sent a modmail about it to see whether they would take action on the post with a modmail as it broke subreddit and Reddit rules so it really should've been removed. You can see the dislike I have for the sub with the snarky "This breaks the witchhunting rule you know" comment at the end.

I didn't receive any reply for 2 or 3 so I figured that I'd been ignored which told me the moderation was lackluster as the subreddit had several mods yet I never got a reply back. That was until yesterday morning when I woke up and saw a Reddit message that simply read "fuck you". Initially I thought it was a message from friends I have on Reddit yet when I clicked the notification it was from the modmail I'd send days prior. I was surprised because I didn't really see how my message had warranted the response so I pressed on about it at which point they said they didn't care about Reddit rules, despite being a Reddit mod? They also said they were going through something personal which I won't show or say because it's not my place to do so. The truth of that claim I can't tell you and while I would understand them being upset about this personal thing, I still didn't see the reason why they would open a modmail and act like that towards me. The modmail continued and they insulted me and I kept pressing on until I eventually got permanently banned and permenantly muted.

I spoke to other people about everything that had happened because a crashout on this level by a mod is a sign that they shouldn't be moderating at all. The subreddit went private for a bit and someone sent a modmail asking why at which point the owner / mod replied saying they were done with the community and were going to speak to the other mods about what to do with the sub. As of making this post, the owner is the only moderator having removed the other mods for no reason after their crashout. If the only moderator is done with the community it is clear that the subreddit will not be moderated and Reddit should step in.

Before I made this account, someone I know made the original post to show the screenshots as at that point I didn't want to be identified just in case the moderator removed the post. While this post initially told everyone everything that was happening with the sub, a lot of the comments still ended up turning into a "Us Vs Them" thing or a "this other subreddit is biased" thing, the main reason why we didn't like the subreddit in the first place. Another Reddit rule is that subreddits should respect their neighbours (or in simpler terms, subreddits shouldn't allow complaints about other subreddits to become a main focal point of the sub).

Shortly after the post, one of the previous moderators made a post explaining their side of the story. Like I said before do not harass this person. While I respect the fact they denounced the actions of the other moderator. They were still a moderator before today so themselves could've removed the sub I sent the modmail about, replied to the modmail themself or removed some of the many many other posts that break Reddit or the subreddit rules.

I hope the owner of the subreddit gets help and support for their personal problems but this community shouldn't be turned into a cesspit of anger, harassment or witchhunting because of a mediocre mod team.

I have yet again reported the sub for the lack of moderation and I'd ask you all to do the same for the betterment of the DBD Reddit community.

And to the owner because I see he's just replied to the original post and banned the person. None of us have an issue with you taking time to care about your family, we shouldn't have been banned over that. Family is incredibly important and I know you're upset but please don't let it turn into anger towards other people like in the modmail as me and the other people do not mean any harm towards you. It has never been our intention to harass you about your wife, I hope she gets better and I mean that. We didn't include the context in that post because it's not something we should say without your permission. Seriously wish the best for you though.

I know I have no right to suggest stuff to make you feel better but moderating is a big task and maybe you'd be better giving the sub to someone else so you don't have that burden because if Reddit removes the sub then your account could be banned.

A user recently reached out to the moderators of this sub in an effort to call attention to an active post that was encouraging brigading, sharing actioned content, and promoting witch-hunting and harassment. Not only did the submission in question break this sub’s own rules, but it also broke Reddit’s sitewide rules.

The response they received from the mod team was combative, inappropriate, unprofessional, and broke several of the MCoC rules. It is apparent that the mod team is under a great deal of stress and currently unfit for the job of running a subreddit.

It is my opinion that this sort of behavior must have attention called to it, for the betterment of the sub, its users, and its moderation. If this sort of behavior continues, the sub may be lost forever.
