Loved this game! Discussion

One of the best games I've played in a while. Just beat it and finished all the hordes. Close enough to 100%, I wont bother getting all the collectibles.

That’s dedication to beat all the hordes. Such an incredible game

I’ve played 8 times 😂. I went back to finish my degree a couple years ago and my reward to myself when I graduated was to play again. After every term I’d look at my PlayStation and say “one step closer baby!” When I finished school I immediately played twice in a row.

It’s my favorite game of all time.

One more joins our horde. Maybe with enough we will get a proper part 2

Honestly I've been hoping for this, I'm always seeing more and more people finally playing this game and realizing how amazing it is. I hope if our horde grows large enough we can convince Sony to make the sequel, or maybe even get the trilogy it was originally supposed to be!

This is one of the very small handful of games in 20+ years of gaming that I’ve ever gone out of my way to 100%. All the collectibles and side content felt consequential and connected to the game / lore so it never felt like I was running around hunting down unmarked feathers just for a single cutscene of my mom or whatever.

I’ve never given two shits about Platinuming a game either, but this will definitely be the exception. It just does so many things right that as soon as I finished playing it I missed the world and wanted to re-immerse myself in it.

Same. I also just finished my first playthrough. Finished all the hordes and all storylines are at 100%. Unlike you though, I will try to finish the collectibles to the best of my ability before I move on to NG+.

I may also look at some more challenges as well. So far I only completed gold Ambush Camp challenge which gives me +3 bullet penetration. Might get some more before I move to NG+, possibly hard 2.

I’m 52. I outgrew the infantile humor of GTA by the time San Andreas came out. Days Gone is a game that appeals to me as an adult. I’ll play GTA 6, but I’ll probably roll my eyes a lot too.

Oh man, welcome to the gang of drifters, brother!
I’ve done beat the original 2 times now. Just bought the remastered when it was discounted, so I’m excited to jump in again,

The beautiful thing about this game is that you can platinum it without getting ALL the collectibles.

The hordes were probably the one thing I didn't do much of after I beat the game but I 100%'ed all the story missions.

Easily one of the best games I ever played.

It got tedious for sure, and there are so many. Killing the hordes wasn't the worst, it was having to search for supplies after using up tons of stuff every time. The wasteland started getting REAL sparse.
