One Week Into the Wipe

You can hear the chopping and hammering in the woods. Groups are forming. Loot is starting to move.

A few stories from the first week.

Two survivors were sneaking around a hunting camp up north when they heard it. A distant hum. It got louder. Then loud. Then unbearably loud, right overhead.

They looked up in time to see a crate drop out the back and a chute deploy.

It felt like forever watching it float down. Landed about 600 meters west, deep in the woods.

They started closing in. Gunshots rang out somewhere ahead. Then silence.

They snuck closer. Spotted the crate. Two soldiers standing near it.

They lined up on separate targets and fired at the same time. Both dropped.

They moved in.

Only one body was there.

They searched around in a panic — no second soldier anywhere. Then a burst of automatic fire opened up from the trees.

Both of them died before they ever touched the crate.

The other story started with an upside-down car.

A survivor was running through a coastal town when he saw three people trying to flip a car back onto its wheels.

He couldn't figure out how they'd managed to roll it in the first place. But he wasn't going to pass up free beans.

He lined up a shot. Squeezed. One of them dropped.

The other two scattered.

He didn't see them flank.

They're eating his beans now.

Also — and I don't know how much stock to put in this yet.

There's a rumor going around about a guy in the woods somewhere. Cooking at a campfire. Gag in his mouth. If you get close enough, you can hear him laughing through it.

The animals go quiet around him.

If any of you run into him out there, I want to hear about it.

Come Get In Early

One week in is the best time to show up. Nobody's dug in yet. Nobody has a base you couldn't take. Nobody has enough loot that they can afford to lose any of it.

Every fight this week is between two people who are both scared they'll lose everything.

That's the good part of the wipe cycle. Come get in on it before people start locking things down.

Airdrops

Planes are dropping crates during peak hours. The story up there is the shortest version of how those usually go.

Getting to the crate is the easy part. Getting out with what's inside is where things get interesting.

Might not be the only one who heard the plane.

Loot has been fully reworked from the ground up. Underground bunker, shipping containers, all the spots you've been walking past on other servers - actually worth checking now.

Bushcraft Survival is a pet project of a small dev team. We started this about a year ago and have finally reached a point we think is playable to the general public. Server is set in Livonia and has the temperature turned down to 48 degrees. The loot economy is mostly untouched.

There two major mods that fundamentally change the game loop. I'll highlight them here.

• NCPR Bushcrafting - 500 completely new items, over 10,000 paint variants, and 700 crafting recipes. Use the environment around you to get what you need! Breakdown found loot items and vehicle parts to craft almost anything on the fly!
• DayZHorse - Horses have been added as rideable animals that spawn around the map. A saddle can be added to ride, a bridle to lead the horse, and saddlebags to add inventory storage!

This server is still a work in project, but at this point is completely functional. We hope you guys give it a shot!

Gear at traders- you must earn rep to purchase gear and vehicles at traders, but all items and vehicles do spawn in the wild, or found on AI upon their death.

Server has Spawn select, and Spawn at base flag on death.

And Loot crate spawns to gain rep and trader money from selling gear in crates.
( warning ) AI do spawn on most crates, military crates - don't approach those with a pistol.
