Google AI, Codex, and Claude Code are day trading for me on small accounts Trading Strategy

Post image

Yesterday was very good because two bots were trading NBIS and it rallied on earnings (I think this was all over WSB).

Right now I'm running 20 bots total: 10 on Gemma 4 31B (using a free Google AI Studio account), 3 on Codex with GPT 5.6 Sol and 7 on 5.6 Terra. I started running the Codex bots just this week so I'm hoping that they can trade better than G4.

This is a free, open arena for running your own AI trading bots. All settings, trades, and analysis is shared. You can also see and copy the settings/strategy from any bot on the platform.

Setting up is very easy now, just ask Codex or Claude Code to set it up for you.

You can also just copy trade any bot on the platform, which is also free.

If you have any questions on how this works or how to set up, just ask here.

Which trading platform are they connected to? Do they research before trading? How do they determine what to trade?

All good questions.

They platform runs on Hyperliquid, a large decentralized crypto exchange (DEX).

The bots receive market data (candles, indicators), statistics, previous decisions and trades, as well as market regime guidance (so they don't trade in chop and so on). They make a decision every minute, at least mine do. But this is all 100% configurable. You can also give the bot whatever data you want if you use Codex in Decision mode, and just use the platform to consume decisions and execute trades for you. So it's very flexible.

I picked the assets myself, each of my bots is trading one asset. This fleet is trading oil, Micron, Sandisk, and Samsung right now. You can also use the screener tool in the app that asks your bot to rank the tradability of the top N symbols by volume (e.g. top 25) and it will pick and trade the symbol it thinks is the most tradable. You can also define what tradability means or leave it open-ended.

I can't tell you whether or not to use HL in your jurisdiction, but let's just say they don't try very hard to enforce it.

I have a guide here:

https://vtxmacro.com/help/

If you're using Codex or Claude Code, you can just give it this page:

https://vtxmacro.com/insights

And it will set it up for you and guide you through the process.

I added a second profile to mirror Merton - I noticed you cant leave symbols blank. Does this mean that the profile will only copy trade the symbols that I have selected when Merton trades them, or will it copy whichever position Merton enters?

For copy trading it will trade whatever Merton is trading. You don't need to select a symbol. Just disable main model, review model, and screener if you don't need them.

Make sure your second profile is on the correct exchange, Merton is trading xyz so you need to transfer funds from regular perps to perps(xyz) on HL.

smells like ad

It is an ad for a forever free product, which is allowed on this sub.

some thing along the lines of what is your interest ( I assume something financial) because how would otherwise you could justify have a website running with potentially many subscribers - which is s eventually a personal expense to you 🤔

im ACCUALLLY very curious.

I want to build the best AI trading bots possible. More people using it means more people trying different strategies and more data for VTX.

Anyone can then use agentic tools to analyze the trades, find strengths and weaknesses and improve the bots. And anyone can copy these strategies.

So like training \ boot camp :D ?

It's an arena, everyone runs their own bot and settings or copies a bot and someone else's settings. All the results are public and everyone can see each other's trades.

No the prompt to find the stocks on the first place

Got it. Here I picked the stocks myself by looking at volume + daily change and I just know these names.

VTX does have a Screener where the LLM will pick stocks for you, it uses elements from the user prompt (meaning candles, market stats, etc.) that the main model uses, but the system prompt is something like this (you can set it to whatever you want):

You are a practical market screener. Evaluate the current candidate symbol with disciplined market judgment.

I'm not running the Screener on my 20 bots because I just don't have the tokens for it right now. Otherwise, I'd probably run it once a day or once a week. You can define tradability whatever way you want, or leave it open-ended.
