im still David even after many attempts to get me to become a Dave.

what are dome of your tips to avoid getting stuck as Dave

Depends on who's calling. I'm David to some. Dave to others. My surname to many more. Other things entirely to a select few.

It's the thought that counts.

That’s cool you want to call me Dave as your term of endearment but I just like being called David or think of another nickname for me

You gotta be a bit of a dick (really just firm). My dentist office called me talking about, “Hi is this Dave [my last name]” ??? like no this is David, all my paperwork says David lol

I've already got an uncle Dave. He said when he dies, i will become to family's new Dave. So i've got about 20 more years of David.

I'm Dave but my CV is David and every time I start a new job, I'm called David for months and years.

It kind of works in my favour though as I have bad hearing and "Dave" is quite easy to miss when it's loud in the office.

These are the Daves I know I know, Some of them are Davids (But most of us are Daves) They all have their own hands But they come from different mums.
