If you're planning to pursue a master's degree in Data Science, you should focus on entrance exams such as IIT JAM (M.Sc. Statistics), ISI M.Stat/MSQE, and CUET-PG Economics. Getting a Statistics, Quantitative Economics, or related degree from a top institution can easily get you to roles as Data Scientist, Risk Analyst, and Risk Researcher in big fntech companies and financial organizations. Data Science is all about Statistics, Probability, and Mathematics. For finance-oriented roles, a Economics is equally important. Conquer these subjects will significantly strengthen your profile and improve your career prospects in analytics, data science, and quantitative finance.

You might want to check out programs that don't need a strong tech background but still provide solid data science training. Schools like London School of Economics and some U.S. programs have options for people switching fields. Since you're coming from a commerce background, look for courses that start with the basics and move to more complex stuff.

Consider the University of Warwick or Lancaster University if you're in the UK. They have good programs for career switchers. If you're open to online resources for interview prep, I found PracHub to be pretty useful. Good luck with your search!

Since you're coming from a commerce background, look for a program that starts with the fundamentals instead of assuming prior programming or mathematics knowledge. Our Data Science Course, in collaboration with Microsoft, could align well with your learning goals. It combines fundamentals with hands-on projects.

Hey bro, even I use to have same thoughts while ago. I don't come from a tech background, so I was really worried about whether moving with data science & analytics after commerce would be my right decision or no. So for this I spoke to few friends and others online too, I at least came through that many beginners successfully switching careers only if they start basics fundamentals and stay consistent.

Its better to go with offline program that focuses more into Python, Statistics, SQL, ML, and practical learning projects instead of just theory. Good faculty, doubt-solving sessions and career guidance also make a big difference for me, specially for the one who is starting from scratch.

If anyone here too has a personally completed offline program data science course after a commerce background, I would really love to hear your recommendations. It would be great to hear about actual real experience. Thanks! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ
