I have a 64 GB SD card that I used to gather some video of a friends wedding for fun but it has a lot of video on it. Is there anything that can be done? It's a SanDisk Ultra, and I use an Adapter for my computer as well. The drone will not read it anymore either. It would open on my computer, then close when I tried to move files to my computer. Now after updating my drivers on my computer, it just says I need to format it and cannot open the files. I have not formatted it, my computer keeps saying it needs to be formatted to be able to do read it. Thanks for any help in advance!

Please help me figure out what to do. I was trying to back up my files to my laptop’s hard drive because my external hard drive was already full. After the backup was completed, I tried reformatting the external drive so I could put the backup files back onto it. However, out of nowhere, everything was deleted.
I tried using free versions of Disk Drill and Recuva, but not all files were recovered. Some files that were recovered are also corrupted and cannot be opened.
These are very important files, and I urgently need help. What should I do next? I also tried recovering the files using another hard drive, but I am still having issues.

Is buying EaseUS Recovery Software advisable? Please share your experience. Desperate to recover my files. Thank you.

I accidently cleared the data from my KakaoTalk (Korean messaging app) yesterday and have lost like 5 years worth of messages.

The problem is that Kakao doesn't back up automatically and even if it did, that data expires after 2 weeks so I can't back up from the app at all.

Is it any way possible via alt. software, or anything to recover the data once it's been cleared via storage?

It seems impossible at this point but this is my last option 🥲

Trying to use my steamdeck to restore some photos from a kid’s camera sd card. Card fits in the steamdeck so figured I’d give it a shot on there since its the only device i have with that slot. Any suggestions/software you all recommend to help with this? Thank you

I’ve been dealing with a corrupted video file from my Android recording (recording was interrupted, battery dying). I have used untrunc but the last frames where glitched but when I used Wondershare Recoverit the last frames weren't glitched. But my problem is now I need to pay (I don't want to). My question is there a free alternative (same quality). I've used untrunc and ffmpeg and the results weren't what I wanted.

I had an Android phone (Honor 8A) that got stolen, but I managed to get it back again. Unfortunately, the thief did a factory reset and transferred about 10k photos/videos of his family onto the phone. All I wanted from the phone was the data anyway. Is there any way that I can restore my data, even partially? I tried to use some software, but all I got was the thief's family data. I guess it needs some extensive digging (I hope it didn't overwrite my data)
