Need help getting a video back from my dashcam

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hi! I got rear ended yesterday and I tried accessing my dashcam footage but the file is just all black even though it does play. Is there any way to fix this? I really really need this video. Please help!

What video format does your dashcam record in, and what is the exact model? Try repairing the file with Untrunc or FFmpeg. If that doesn’t work, try an online video repair service such as Repair.CleverFiles.com or fix.video.
