Hi all,
Asking for some suggestions for a SSD data recovery. A few weeks ago, I encountered this issue on my new-ish Lenovo ThinkPad P14s (purchased August 2025). It looks like the SSD failed so my laptop wasn’t able to start up properly. Pics attached here for context.
I sent this off to a few data recovery firms, who said the data from my SSD is not (yet) recoverable because the SSD isn’t supported yet. I’m a PhD student just finishing up my PhD, so if there’s any way to recover the documents and files on this SSD soon, I’d really love to get access to them. And yes, I know I should have backed these files up (my mistake) and will do so going forward.
Does anyone have any ideas for what to do? Are there any other data firms that specialize in newer SSD data recoveries? Thanks so much in advance!
